Rain & its after effects

Our local creek is at its highest that I've seen this year. Alot of rain has fallen in the yarra ranges.
I got drowned going for a look at the creek. But WOW fascinating hearing it rumbling & tumbling away. Amazing to see and hear.
A little shake rattle and roll going on.
Highest it's been this year i reckon.
Will be lots of fun when it drops back to normal.

Is it a gold bearing creek Kathy? Whilst its at full flood stage it would be worth noting where the water is flowing slowly to find where the gold will be dropping out...exciting times

WOW she has moved alot!!! The dogs were a concern. It was moving logs, limbs and I could hear the rocks belting into logs 8) . She was fierce about 7pm last night.

My backyard flowed from the road through my place and back into the creek. My son got in a canoe on it.
All drop of our place now but creek is high still. Wouldn't step in there yet 8)

Sort of. My property has the creek wrapping around it.

You'd get blackfish in there i would imagine kathy? Once it settles back to normal flows that is.
