We have just had a fantastic lightning and thunder storm pass over us giving 15 ml of RAIN!!
My wife had just started mowing the lawn when it struck. Heh, heh !!

Lawn mowing like Washing the Car, guaranteed to do it every time :lol: , was walking Rigby on Wednesday evening and got slammed in the middle of nowhere, 20mm in about 10 minutes! Lightening on top of us, poor Rigby was terrified :awful:

Wife and daughter went to a 4oclock wedding at McLaren Vale yesterday, outside service, and you guessed it, just about to start and down she came. Thankfully they had a back up in one of the winery buildings.
Cant control dear ol mother nature.

Just noticed that Toowoomba is flooding. Parts of the Warrego look like waterfalls.
Jaros, with the passing of Silver's Mother, he may have other things on his mind.

The evacuation to high grd has gone off in Grantham-hope they all hear it.

I thought after the last floods that Grantham was rebuilt on higher ground?

Attempting helicopter rescues in Grantham, weather is causing some issues, a number of people already stranded on roofs. Lets hope the weather breaks enough for rescues to take place.

Was speaking to a mate in Gympie today and he recorded 35mil whilst I was I was in a 15 minute phone call with him. :awful:

Mates yard has white water in it, taken at lunch time today , Good for rafting :Y:

Willy's weather says 97.3 ml today so far for Brissy I think it would be well over 130mm at Carseldine.

122mls since 8pm last night.
Its about 10mtrs from the back door now.
Hasn't come up this far in the last 10 years.
The water is over my head down the back.
King John Creek is about 30mtrs behind the back tree line.

I am good here mate the creek would have to come up another 2 metres before it gets to my fenceline, however, i will have to check on my neighbour across the way to make sure he is ok.

No real danger here.
Water doesn't flow fast and easily escapable.
Just a pain in the ass if it comes through the house.
The only thing ill bother moving is my Harley,
that can't be replaced. :Y:
