After panning 2 buckets in my tub, the water looks like wet grey green pearl paint..

From 2 buckets of the clays on the bottom in that same spot, I have 2 ton of that put aside in case I don't get the opportunity to get at better ground..

Yep, Goldie would be very happy to have a patch like this to explore. I would also be looking for cracks in bedrock filled with sediment from immediately above, but what you have would keep me happy.

I only got 16 buckets of the good stuff before it got backfilled. I'm saving it for an awesome highbanker run when the creek starts flowing again.

Took a mini sample of the gravels the digger scraped off the floor of a drive..

This was found covered in pipe clay in one of the drives a couple of weeks ago.
Was told it's an old Chinese soy sauce bottle?
It's another reason why I haven't bothered sampling..
