Prospecting Around Spargo Creek in Victoria

Hi, I am new to this and have been looking for areas to detect in. I came across Spargo Creek and found that there was mention of a mine in the area, however, the exact location was not specified. Has anyone looked in this area, or know any info on the mine?

Any help would be appreciated.

There is a Bulletin of the Geological Survey of Victoria with maps and descriptions of the Spargo Ck mines (part of the Gordon-Daylesford gold belt). It has Spargo Creek in the title
