I went for a trip to the snowies today for a good old fashioned prospect
Just drive see something you like
Dig one pan
Check it out
Write in diary
Move on

And then I found colour,quite coarse
And these babies
To the eye they are red/maroon
Under led they are as photo
What are they,a type of ruby??
Very heavy ran with black sands

look like zircon's to me, I have found similar in the snowy region myself, but hay its hard to tell off photo's, nice find though
