Dont let that worry ya. My old man had none for years. Got himself some choppers a couple of years ago. What he used to do wast cut it in really small bits, then just gently gum on it a bit to release a bit of flavour. Said it tasted just the same. :Y:Feral said:Bjay said:I just dont get it. Don't get me wrong, I love meat. My favorite cut is T-Bone with smashed buttery spuds with chopped up shallot. But alas no teeth means no T-Bone for me 8.( 8.( 8.( 8.(

Australian food standards are fairly restrictive though with fairly stringent withholding and exclusion periods. Although I couldnt be 100% certain I would hazard a guess theres probably a higher concentration of chemicals in your drinking water supplied in most towns and cities than in either your meat or vegetables.
All in all though if you turn to studies its unlikely you would be any more informed about which kind of diet is better and what pitfalls to avoid. For Western populations, where we eat throughout the day, the research on diet and nutrition isnt particularly rigorous.

Yep, I agree. It is highly processed food, not fresh food. Better to eat the original fresh vegies (although I also like my meat).Bjay said:I just dont get it. If you dont want to eat meat dont. What's going to happen to all the cows? Maybe we will see adverts on tv asking us to adopt a cow instead of a kid.
I'm going to have a burger made from meat.

Anyway I read something a while ago(cant remember where) that was of a scientific nature. The gist of it was about the fact that if early man hadnt of eaten meat we wouldnt have survived or developed as a species. Good or bad? I cant answer that for everyone, but we do like finding gold. :goldnugget:
