Ok, so after polluting Tathradj's Oallen post with off topic dribble I looked (not very hard) for a thread to post up some random photos I've taken of old gold mining areas. Came up empty, so here we are. I'm sure someone will fix it if it's in the wrong place....

The Cowra Creek area is probably the biggest and best known field in the area, but there's also Fiery Creek, Back Creek, Peak View, Big Badja fields etc that all lie along the same north-south geological area.

Yalwal is a bit west of Nowra, but you probably already knew that
