Photographer in Central Victoria - hello

Hi! I'm a photographer working on an independent arts project broadly about gold in central Victoria. I've joined to learn more about prospecting and connect with fossickers in the area, with the hope I might be able to accompany on some adventures over the coming months around Bendigo. Will find an appropriate forum to post more details!

What do you want to photograph in particular - gold towns, mines, artifacts, Chinese gold mining history.....

Hi! Initially, I want to photograph people fossicking for gold in the bushland around Bendigo, I'm interested in the popularity of it as a recreation. From there and from conversations, more ideas will come I'm sure, but that's my starting point. My ancestors came to the area from Sweden in the 1850s, so there's also a personal history thread through the project as well.
