Panning around Orange

Think i need to go and do a trip to Ophir! that's not bad for a days panning! I live in bathurst and have only been out sofala way about 4 or 5 times

Interesting find there Gimp. That appears to be quite coarse gold suggesting that it hasn't travelled far.

You planning any time out to sofala or Ophir soon? Thinking of finally trying my luck again.

Ophir is a nice place to pan for gold

Yeah I've been a few times but no luck. Just too new to it and too stupid I reckon. But I've got a 4yo who wants to go back out at some point and Ophir is still relatively close so will probably end up there again soon.
Hoping I might even get something this time.
