What about some humor....say the best "prospecting joke" ....that can be judged by the participants etc.

Or the best "Wisdom of the Wise"...quotations that really mean something to fellow prospectors.

Or the best "Mulled Wine" or other concoction imbibed and where and what made it so special.

Or the best recipe for food that has been consumed in the bush

Hi Nugget,

The other idea that may be of merit is to ask for donations of appropriate gear that can be auctioned to raise funds for the forum.

You could ask for donations or offers of gear for sale and settle on a base price (that may or may not be returned to the offerer depending on the deal) and then put it up for auction with appropriate images etc.

This lets members both unload unwanted gear for other members to add to their gear and should potentaily raise funds for the forum.

We all know it is to raise funds so the auction should function.
