It sure was nice to see that 44 in the bottom of the hole
Im actually amazed i didnt scratch it
Was about 6" down ,under crushed rock, used to pave a vehicle track
Most of the other PD's have been just off or close to the sides of this track

Same place again as last weekend for a couple of hours early this morning

Started off pretty bloody slow really, i think i might have been going over ground i had already detected
All the silvers came in the last half hour from a small clearing amongst some pretty nasty thistles and covered in those big cats eye bindis

The Irish 20p was an unlikely find
