This morning i hunted a site i have been to many times
It has always been very challenging, with so ring pulls , pull tabs , canslaw and bottle tops to send even the sanest person over the edge
I first started with the Ace250 then the Sovereign, both with various coil combinations and multiple directions
Today using the 6" coil on the 3030

The sovereign is more than capable of holding its own against most modern detectors
Not bad for a 20 year old detector.
I still prefer to use my Sov for beach hunting
