This is a pic of the famous Cohen's Reef at Walhalla. I snapped it whilst on a tour in the Long Tunnel Extended mine a few years back. It took 2 years of tunnelling to intersect the reef. I imagine there would have been a lot of nervous shareholders during those 2 barren years.

Nice pic Casper.
It shows the quartz reef with the contact zones. How many times have I come across an old reef and thought if only I could have seen the outcrop before the old miners got there. Was it in the quartz in veins or only on the edges.......
