Novice water detector from Melbourne vic

Hello everyone coops here.I have only been detecting a couple of months and already own a CTX 3030 am really enjoying the hobby but i would feel safer hunting with others .Does anyone ever organise meet ups in the bayside area.Would be great to hunt with like minded people.

I'm sure there are afew like minded people on here,... I just go in up to my neck sometimes, but that's up in sunny Queensland.

Hi silver i have only gone to chest height but would like to try snorkeling .I keep treading on sting ray and saw a blue ringed octopus the other day starting to get a bit paranoid.

Lots of things that can be dangerous in your water and mine,.... I probably wont go in again till about October,.... maybe,..... or maybe tommorrow even, now(ha)
