Goldpick

It's been a hell of a long time since I used the Infinium at the beach, so decided to dust it off, load it up with some fresh batteries, and headed down to the local sanded in beach. Once again it is amazing how smaller objects this detector can pick up, and the excellent depth using the 10x14" mono coil, it ran smooth and quite all night without even a ground balance.
The downside of course with a PI detector is the amount of ferrous targets dug, the usual tent pegs and sparklers all over the place. It picked up a very fine gold plated chain, something I doubt the explorer would pick up, and another unusual find was an Israeli New Sheqel coin, a first for me. Despite the number of junk targets, it was still a fun night out - I was going to let the Infinium go, but I think it still warrants staying in my detector line up.
