You did well on that second spot, the florin stood up pretty well to the salt. The badge might be the central part of a larger one, as in the attached picture. The rest might have parted ways due to the corrosion. 
Nice hunting. No my son doesn't detect. Was just a joke as he is up there working/holidaying.

The last weeks I travelled a lot and will soon head back to Melbourne. We stayed one week on Fraser Island and it was absolutely great!
I tried to clean some of my last finds, but they need some more soaking in olive oil. I saw one guy deep frying his coins in olive oil? Thanks GP for your research!
On my way I hit a few playgrounds and beaches between Townsville and Airlie Beach. Because my travel mate is into fishing I got to see a lot of lead on the beaches I detected, which went straight in his tackle box. On the picture are just two pieces.
Old....: $34,50
New...: $41,35
