New to the game....Where's best to start detecting just outside of Can

Gary here. My detector is being delivered next week. Hoping to kick-off next weekend. Permit received.

Braidwood, Bungendore, Sutton, Gunning and anywhere else around Canberra ...Any suggestions appreciated.

The only place nearby for nuggets of any detectable size is Mongarlowe. That said, good luck getting onto any land. The natives are definitely not friendly.
