I have been an avid prospector for the past two years and get to go out every few months. In saying this I have always had a passion for geology and still have a great rock collection that started from when I was a kid. I am interested in talking and meeting other people to share this great hobby . I live near Canberra and really enjoy day trips prospecting as well as camping trips further afield.
I will share a few pictures of my trip out camping and prospecting this weekend which turned out as one of my better days finding gold which ended up being 0.614g. I am never really fussed at the amount I find I just love the rivers, bush, and the yellow glistening in the pan!
