Nice hunt GT. Thanks for sharing on the run. It was fun.
For my filming the camera is on a head strap. I just push 1 button to start recording. Editing takes a long time.
So that was my week, a bit of a soft one but didn't get a chance to go anywhere but between work and home. So not bad.
Not sure about the ring, right id, right colour, tests positive but its wafer thin and weighs next to nothing. Been a while since I had a gold ring, bugger me it's the first thing out of the ground in a new spot. Then mostly BBs and no goldies, themselves the breaks I guess.
I did take a few quick photos of my retrieval method on a juicy piece of the Oval to demonstrate what I do using the slit method. Honestly with a good pinpointer and a bit of determination you can get through a massive amount of targets in a cpl hours. I'll try and edit it shortly.
I didn't think about anyone else posting rocketaroo but your more than welcome. I'm going to have to have a think about how I do this I barely covered a 1/4 of the ground I'd get through taking pics and editing them, if I can work out how to take pics of a smaller size in the camera setting I could probably upload a great deal faster.
RJ put the mozz on me, not a single predec haha so no more requests. I might wait next time until I'm on better hunts where I know there will be more of interest waiting to be freed from the dirt. I have a few spots up my sleeve it's just shockingly dry and I'm all for low impact detecting.
If you want to go video live dig GT drop in next time your cruising past, I have a cheap version of a 'go pro' sitting at home doing bugger all, I bought it and strapped it to the front end of the ute when I was drive in/out contracting up north, got some good steel on feral animal 'impact' footage (always good for a belly aching laugh)
So if you want to borrow it mate, she's all yours
What's more needes is an app or website that does it all in one button for you. I don't have a pc to make it for us though I would if I could. Ill search a bit online but I'd prefur something I can customize easily and premade things are usually limited.
Basically a camera app that edits a photo ( change image and file size ) and uploads as soon as you capture it. I bet forum member gcause's app was going to include this sort of useful additions. Hope he is going well.
There was a program on my pc I used where I could record mouse position and clicks, then save it as a macro to one keyboard button. When I pressed it, all the actions took place automatically withought me touching it. Mabey tgeres a macro recording app out there..ill look but it may get complicated if there is one and not worth it.
