I havent been to the goldfields. However, consider the fors gold if you plan to go for gold. It can do beaches, and turf, and be better for the goldfields.

Few gours this morning, a new spot, that didnt produce much. I finally tried the sniper coil, it works really well. The round brass disc....maybe a buckle, or belt related? The penny is 1912...I think. Crappy finds, but it was good to get some time for a hunt
