We were over there early in the year and it was busy, caravan parks booked out and lots of people camped on the pending leases. Most that we talked to were finding little if any, just like in the East you still need to know what you are doing and put the time in with the right equipment.
I was in Kalgoorlie prospecting the last week of September (& it was school holidays). Every man, woman & kid were there. the place was packed out, booked out, & detected out too I think.
the couple of big finds over here recently have no doubt inspired more than just a few people.
Would of been a lot of money pouring into Kal for those 2 weeks I reckon. but probably not a lot of :goldnugget: going out

layful:Here at Laverton at the moment and the caravan park is fairly empty. Haven't seen any Victorians for a while now. :Y:
