Not this time, gave the wife my 1st ten pieces on our wedding anniversary last year. This time she got a new phone, I'm not anticipating she'll answer my call's or text but we all live in hope. I hope the big nugget in my head beats her to my next contact attempt, she'll like me even more then
I looked after Mrs Chewy and spoiled her all day. Well as much as I could. We had a house inspection the next day so we were both flat out cleaning. My poor old mum on the other hand had a heart attack on Friday arvo and got flown up to Flinders medical centre in Adelaide. She got brekky in bed for mothers day alright, but not how she thought she'd get it. She had an angiogram yesterday and a a stent put in to fix a blocked blood vessel. On the upside it's now fixed and mum will be ok. Stent went in yesterday and I think she is getting out today.

Had my two eldest daughters home (youngest still lives here) for Mother's day dinner. It was great to catch up.
I made a standing rib roast of beef, with yorkshire pudding etc.

I put my wife on a plane to Canberra so she could visit her mum, see the grandkids and great-grandkids, she was very happy and worn out.
Me, I had a great weekend but don't tell her-sssssssssshhhhhhhhhhhh!

Yeah thanks guys she is out of hospital. I'm about to give her a call and see how she is going.

She is a lot better thanks Mackka. She has to go back for a follow up appointment in a few weeks but should be coming back down this way in a few days. It will be good to see her again. I spoke to her this arvo and she sounded much better and was ordering dad around and had a good old laugh about it to.

Thanks Andy, yeah it sure is amazing what they can do. It all seems pretty routine to them. The surgeon that done young Rebels surgery in Melbourne and his team are bloody magicians I reckon to.
