Morinish gold fields

Hi has anyone done any detecting around the morinish area near Rockhampton.
Plan to spend next weekend up there.

Hi polky! Have been out a few times around morinish with not much luck. How did you go?

Done a bit of research. Need to get up there.
The area I want to look at is where Lousia creek
meets up with 2 other creeks. It's on private property.
So will have to seek permission.
