Mitchell river Ammonites location ?

Heard there are some Ammonites somewhere along the Mitchell river. Anybody know where ?

XIV, I'm gunna guess its the Mitchell River in FNQ

I know the location as I know the station its on, but its a no go to access it I'm afraid.

Yeh. I was guessingthat one.
The Mitchell river in fnq runs all the time to the Gulf.
It's a very big river, with several other big rivers running into it ( including the palmer river )
Which is why I was asking for an area.

You do realize that the Mitchell river is a few hundred km long.
But no. I don't know where along the Mitchell it is.

Yep. Thats about %80 of the area up there lol

Yep, very interesting.
Lots of minerals and history, gotta be careful with fossil hunting though there are rules on what you can keep.
