I had a barker mill, semi autogenous, to crush my ore and the gold
came out as balls because of the action of the mill.

Rockrat I crushed it in a dolly pot.
I am very careful with samples to make sure each one is true.

gday digger, Nature throws a lot of curved balls, i too crushed samples once
and found minute balls in my dolly pot, at that time i put it down to contamination
from a RC drill hole i was near.

There are two processes by which gold spheres
may have formed: crystallization of droplets from a
melt or chemical precipitation.

Hello Rockrat
Thank you for that report,I looked for that type of report, but could not turn anything up.
I spoke to a friend that found a lot of heavy gold leading to the reef, and his thoughts were that it was a indicator(a 40 year prospector).
So will go back for more scratching on the ground.
