They also sell the 9V for the booster and pinpointer as well also good value

I've had to do the same with my batteries. Couldn't work out what the prob was - kept thinking there was a bad issue with the machine, but after using the tape, all was well again.Chuky boy said:Have u run a couple of loops of electrical tape around your batteries before installing them???
