Hello All

I have a Minelab Charger BC10 that only displays two solid red lights when plugged in. And wont charge (green light)

I have had a look at the electronic board and it looks ok, but thats only for something very obvious!

Are there any fixes for these or is it worth getting repaired? It’s well out of Warranty.
Does anyone repair these?

are you charging via the 240v to supply power the the charger or the ciggy lighter to supply power to the charger or the aligator clips straight to the 12v battery to supply the power to the charger.

Mostly the ciggy lighter supply is not good enough, so use either the 240v or the aligator clips straight of a 12v battery

Thanks mate, I have tried 240v still the same .Im thinking it might be one of the many small components on the board

If all seems ok inside the charger- I would take a guess and it's possible that it's too hot for the charger to charge- Mine used to not charge if I tried to charge in hot weather ( I only used 12 volt) - so if thats the possible cause -then obviously try and find a cooler place for the charger or charge at night when. the weather cools down- that was the only ting that worked for me at the time- hope this helps.
