I have a Eureka gold and seeking offers...
The battery no longer holds charge (battery charges to about 13.1V but voltage drops to around 8 volts when detector turned on.
As a result, the unit is very 'chaotic' sounding when turned on and does not settle down.
Also, the loudspeaker no longer works - I suspect it could be the headphone jack, but the speaker could be faulty. It works via the headphone outlet.
I cannot guarantee it will work correctly if battery is replaced, though I would be surprised if it didn't.
I no longer have a plug pack for charging the battery and I need the car charger I have - for my uhf handhelds.
What do you think it’s worth?
Make me an offer.
Located in Sydney.

I have the same machine i had standarde charge battery pack plus when i bought i bought one you could add your own recharge batteries, but my vehicle was stollen and both packs got burnt with the vehicle and then batemans bay mine lab had the last one in the country, the down side is those 2 clips that hold the batteriy box in are extremley brittle and snap of very easy so i never push my battery box complefely in and holds there well. They are a very good machine but not the best in hot rock country as they are annalouge machines and i believe this is why they were not very popular , but i like mine great for finding gold jewlery etc in ordrinary ground, in hot rock country like dunolly need a PI machine
