Hey MZ, the Pro is a great machine and I love mine. Hope you keep cleaning up what others have flogged. And your ring is a nice touch. I wonder if it was "lost" when she threw it at him.........just a thought!

Was cold and muddy but worth it!

Mike ?

Everything you dig has a story and that's what makes it fun..... Even the crappy old bottle top that was tossed by someone sitting by the Lake on a summers arvo!

Love it but wish they tossed their coins/rings too!!!

I wish they'd all put their **** in the bin... Then it would be mostly goodies we dig
Just dreaming ;)

Thanks Rocket!

Half way through the hunt another swinger came down to the river and told me he has pulled handfuls of pennies and half pennies from m the sand where I was. He had a gold detector and was hitting the deep stuff next to the waterline. Not sure if he is on the forum or not as he was travelling in his caravan.

Might have to pump up my sens to max and hit the sand tomorrow!

Mike.

Sounds like a great spot, lots of promise for further finds. The silvers look to be in great condition, and pocket watch is a real bonus, great hunt. :)

Had a quick hour and half hunt last night in the freezing cold. By the time I got back to the car all the dew had frozen solid and I had about half a centimetre of ice on the coil...... Brrrrrrrr

Starting to get way too cold to go out without wearing six layers of clothing!

Ice on the coil. Wow that's cold.

Rugging up against the cold was definitely well worth the effort, nothing like finding a ready made bar of .925 silver to add to the kitty. :)

I don't go out without a full set of thermals on, and well worth having some decent waterproof and heavily lined hiking boots to keep the toes warm and dry.

Good to catch-up on a look at this thread mike,... just found it, great photos,.... determined commitment when you wear your PJs detecting. ;)
