Some of the funniest and entertaining posts have zero gold content and brighten my day.

Bunch of mixed nuts in here, best forum on the www for well roundedness.

I'm tempted to find out if Panda has anything left to say speaking of the depraved....i mean departed.

Yep, totally agree GT and after all this is the General chat section. Not everyone can be out diggin, explorin, detectin etc etc all the time. It'd be a boring forum if was all just about that imo. Nobodies forcing anybody to read the 'waffle' posts that i know of.

Is it that important... 1000 posts... ive dug more holes... hahahaha my feet have taken more steps in the quest for gold.
I log in every day i read most posts..if i cant contribute/help then i dont post. I always encourage when necessary... but posting to reach a target as a goal?...pfff I might come off a tad negative with this post apologies to all concerned. Its just how i see it and i dont sugar coat nothing. Love this forum and most of the members. Lots of good times and great mates. Im sure you understand...

I agree that the amount of posts means little & I'm more than sure a lot of us have dug more holes & taken more steps in the search.
I don't honestly believe that anyone posts here in order to get to a goal of "x" amount posts? Most seem to genuinely like to help out or just enjoy the banter in the "off" topic general area. In fact if the option was available I'd hide my post count - it's no badge of honour or lets reach the next big number goal to me. I'm just glad to get some thanks if I have helped someone out but still no big deal.

It's alright Yobskin,... today everyone's got a thousand posts(in my mind),..... I'm getting thirsty right now(congrats Yobskin,... pre emptive one thousand post congratulations to you),... you are right though,.. it is just a number(but an adventure in itself just getting there).
