Like your humor people. :D
Bloody well wish I was 31.
Add another 24 years to that but,
Old enough to know better, Young enough to do it again.
And yes, I have done fencing before and that is the wire and post type. :)
Longest stretch I did was 2 Kilometers by myself.
No post hole borer either but good soft black soil luckily. :)
Took me 2 weeks.
3 plain bottom 2 barb top with netting plus two gates. :D
two star pickets between post's.
Rabbit fence.
.
Sorry, edited got my wire wrong. LOL

LOL,
Don't worry, I was watching what came out of some of the holes.
It was in Gold bearing country but the most interesting thing I found was a Telstra cable.
Did not pick the shallow depression over it and the Cocky had removed the markers.
Should have seen the look on my face when the crow bar hit it. 8)
No, Luckily I did not cut it.
It terminated at an old Home stead 4 Miles away that no one had lived in for a few years.

Yeah lucky mate, you don't want to hit a Telstra cable.. they can pinpoint nearly exactly where the break is and if your not far away with digging tools.. hope ya got a good lawyer

I actually cut a cable up on Delegate Hill once digging foundations for a shed.
Took out all the control's and alarms out for the Telstra Comms site.
When I rang them I was put through straight to the control center and all
the Super did was laugh at me. :8
I dug the broken cable out and set it all up that when the cable guy turned up the
next day, All he had to do was splice it.
They let me off with a laugh because I was so honest and did a lot of work to help.
Drove an electric Jack Hammer straight through it. about 2 inch's thick. :8

Many years ago I was running a new control feed for sensors on a water pumping station for a local council. We dug the trench and realised we had cut through a telstra cable that was just laid in the ground. No cable tape, conduits, nothing. Wasnt on any of the drawings. Was a bit of a mystery at first.

I quickly spliced the cables back together as a temp fix after I realised they were the feed for the emergency services transmitter that was located on top of the water tower.

1/2 hr later we had about 4 cars of technicians turn up trying to figure out why the system had dropped out for 15 mins. The drawings were amended pretty soon afterwards.
