Well way back when the population was a lot smaller and they all knew who lived where,.... surely there would be local history records that could reveal a name to match,... it's not like he was going to show anyone or try to spend it,...as the $h!t would hit the fan if anyone back then saw the kings head marked over with a set of initials.I'd recon on T.L 's father being the one who buried it to save someone from jail,....I bet T.L still got a sound flogging for it though. :lol:

It does happen AR, and your in for a treat when it happens for you,.... cause your gunna be saying " I don't believe it " while in the thick of it with old coins popping everywhere you dig as well as a range of new ones worth spending,... there'll be silvers everywhere mate !

Thanks AR. Naa not the dons place. He might of played there but i duobt it. Was nice virgin ground i 've had my eye on for years. Just needed a decent detector. What better way to meet fellow PA members than share a hot spot. Good company,good coins. Good times. Thats what its all about. Cheers.

First hunt for the year. Didn't think ot would be with a dues though. ( thanks Cleggy). 1st site 1/2 hour too hot in the sun too many mozzies in the shade.

. Digging only solid TID's. Site 2 I have done before with my AT pro so i wasn't expecting much. Only lasted 15 min before the rain started. So i put the dues away & got out the pro

. 1 hour in the rain & loved it

. The drops started getting bigger & colder then bullets from the sky (hail) putting an end to that. Overall i like the dues but at 2grand plus i think it will have to wait a bit before i update. Thanks again Cleggy Cheers.

RAIN AND HAIL ,... extreme hunter Dave ,... good you got out there and mastered that other machine too , managed some coin and is that a tiny tiny bit of bling I see ?
Lookin like the Deus was the winner in the coin department for overall value.
