Only two real kind of beer back when I was a kiddo

I don't like drinking week beer...

Full strength for me ...

I like most beer's but will Amit when I go to the local club I do drink VB

There is a lot of people out there that think that free beer is the best. I personally wouldn't touch any of the SA beers, even Coopers.

I work at one of the local clubs and would have to say that the most popular beers are XXXX,Great Northern mid strength and Carlton Dry.I know of plenty of regulars who have drank Tooheys New,VB, Carlton Draught for years but have now changed to one of the 3 mentioned above. :beer: :beer: :beer:

I guess the cops couldnt have handed them out to motorists to cool them down . not in this era.

about 15 years ago i was stuck in traffic for an hour on the highway near Newcastle because a refrigerated semi rolled over.

It was loaded with icecream . the cops were handing out armfuls of the stuff to motorists as we crawled past the scene , i assume someone gave them instructions to do it.

It was summer after all....

South Australian here who has swapped from coopers to James Squires 150 lashes. Don't mind a Jap beer either. VB ? Not bad on tap, but in a can though we used to call it Vomit Brew.
