Buggered by the cloud, we even had an open night organised. That's 3 open nights in a row clouded out.

Thought it would be good to see so grabbed the detector and went to the park next door, plenty of cloud but it parted for a brief moment at 3/4 coverage........and then it happened.

My first rams head shilling :lol: it was a victor scarred 1960 in poor condition but I thanked the bloodred-moon gods for their gift.

Then the cloud came back over and all the ground could give up was a 2c brown bugger.

I only had my $80 Olympus so the pic is not that great, but it looked great in Adelaide.

Was hoping to view it from the main range north of Kosi but alas cloudy, two more next year

nice clear view in lower vic ,was amazed how long it lasted , couple of snaps ,not great but gives an idea
