Long weekend!!!

Hey all,
Looking forward to the long weekend as it is going to be my first time heading out to Bendigo way for a search for the yellow stuff. I love being in the middle of nowhere and just wandering around. I'm hoping someone can point me in a direction where I could find something interesting in the ground or meet up with someone with experience that could help show me the ropes in detecting properly lol.

Any help or advice is awesome thanks everyone.

Bendigo is a bit far for me sorry, already done 2000km+ this week. I will be swinging around Ararat if you need any pointers.

Go to the middle of nowhere, wander around and then take ten paces to the left, then 5 to the right. There's something really interesting in the ground but I missed it by 2 paces last time. Its right near Bendigo. Hope you have a great trip! Make sure you post some pics
