Hey, just a short question to some experienced owners of the ACE 250/350.
When should I change the batteries of the detector and have you made any bad experience with low battery status?

I don't use an Ace but on my At Pro I have run batteries until they fail and I see no drop in performance.. I use the top quality energizers.

Same here with the ACE250, no fail until the end when the dashboard fades, up until that moment it's all systems go (full depth and penetration).

I run mine dry the other day, and was in a different car with no spare batteries, and I had to cut my hunt short ,... normally I always carry spare alkaline batts for just such an occasion. ( if you get AAs that will run your camera for 200 photos or more you will get a really good run out of them in the detector, and they won't drop out till they're dead). 8)
