Well I'm a 50/50 so don't count me in just yet. I'll let you guys work out the best date for yourselves and see if I can make it. Besides GT, I wouldn't mind meeting your good self either. Even if you guys can only make it for the day. I've got a few areas local-ish to get back to and a few more to try out. I do most of my prospecting/camping solo which may have merit, but it can also be pretty boring at times. Hence my eagerness to join in on the meet ups, like Cresswick.

yeah im solo sometimes too but when there's drop bears snakes bogie mans in the bush I get a bit worried

I like freakin myself out in the scrub with thoughts of yowies and other crazy ideas. Its other people that gets my ears peeled :| Last time I was out solo, I saw a silhouette pass behind my camp fire not 15mtrs away. He had a massive stride and was crashing through the bush with no torch? I first spotted him because he came between me and a distant streetlight(a KM or so away} blocking it's light( he was right beside my camp at this stage). Got me lookin for my BIG torch pretty quick, but not quick enough. Turns out he'd just burged a very small local business as I found out in the morning. Never got to properly see him either
And I wont leave my torch in the fourby when setting up camp either
