Hi, we are new to this forum and live in Qld. My husband and I have detectors and pan sometimes, we love going down to ghe Sofala / Hillend area as my grandparents and great grandparents lived around this area . We pan and detect here and camp on the turon river . We have been down to Victoria and we ardd now spending a few days near the Talgai gold fields not far from Pratten. Jan and Garry
