I woke up this morning and no matter what I can't get warm, So it was time to break out a new pair of X-treme boots and an extra pair of socks, I haven't been able to wear boots for over 3 months due to the Cuts and Scars on my Legs since the Op, these scars go from near "You Know What" down to just below my ankle bones so footwear is not an option when it gets too much,, Finally I managed to Pad out my legs so I can wear my warm boots but if my legs get warm they burn like crazy and bare feet is no fun when the weather drops to single digits, So I am giving these boots ago that I bought before I had the Op,

Thanks mate, my feet are starting to get warm but my lower legs are tolerable, Just.

I did not know about all these problems before I had the Op but it's early days yet so things will get better. :Y:

Like the boots mate :Y:

Goody :)

Thanks Mate, about 7 or 8 years ago I bought a pair of their fishing boots rated down to -50*c and I wore them in about -12*c and they work well but you have to wash the liners often so they keep their loft or they are not as warn even indoors, But these boots are extremely warm and a lot easier to walk in, In fact the soles absorb a lot of the shock walking on concrete unlike any other boots I have owned and judging how warm my feet are I'd say they would be good down to -25/-30 maybe more, I went up one size as you should with all Snow boots so I can add an extra pair of Socks, because they add an Air Gap and reduce the chance of getting blisters along with adding another layer of insulation, all up this is the first time my feet have been this warm since I came over here, Happy Days, :playful: :Y:

Exactly the opposite here!!!
From The Cairns Post.

THERE is good reason your thongs might be leaving a goopy, molten mess on the footpath it is the hottest day ever recorded in Cairns.

Thermometers threatening to explode as one of the most intense heatwaves in history grips Far North Queensland and pushes the bushfire danger ratings to the ceiling.

The Bureau of Meteorology recorded a 42.6-degree temperature at Cairns Airport at 12.24pm, blowing previous records out of the steaming water.

BOM forecaster Harry Clark said it had been hotter at the Cairns Post Office with a 43.2-degree reading in 1923, but it had never been so scorching at the airport.

Bummer RR..

no wonder your cold

Any gold over there?

Or you can not find it because of the snow

Yeah I know what that feels like too, back in the late 80's/early 90's down on the Sunshine Coast I recorded 43*c in my bedroom one night, It was murder, we had about 3 or 4 days that were like that, jeez I was happy when the rains came, it was impossible to get cool.

,

Yeah there is Gold over here, and it is worth about 3 or 4 times it's normal value, some times as much as 10x the market price.

I went detecting in the Snow, strike a light it was Cold, My black coat was covered in White frost, My coil had Ice on it and the ground was like calcrete for the first 6 to 8 inches, And my finger hurt like they had been hit with a 4x2.
