Looks like a rock to me, I'm no geologist but I'm pretty sure it's a rock.

Found with my detector in a wet ground, lots of quartz rocks around it but they are breaking away and rusting... just this rock isnt like any other and its very dense and light

Could be a meteorite, depending on what state your in you could send it to a museum or crush and pan it.
