Been having a go at some panning and detecting, a little bit of luck with the panning, not so much with the detecting (apart from the fun of it). Been finding some lead shots and a lot of .22 shells so I believe I’m on the right track… to a point. I have a Minelab x terra pro, from what I’ve been reading on here it’s not absolute poo for gold but also definitely not the right tool either. Anyhow I’m travelling full time and am currently around the golden triangle so will keep having a crack around here for the next few days.
