Thanks for the heads up. Yes, we certainly remember this customer and his very aggressive attitude. For some reason did not believe that a carburettor that sits unused with unleaded fuel in it for two years will cause problems. Maybe its because he knows everything about small engines as he stated in his post. Carburettor had to be removed, stripped and cleaned of varnish and reassembled. This issue was most certainly not a manufacturing fault and therefore not covered under manufactures warranty. But it appears that if you jump up and down enough and make a big enough scene you will get what you want the squeaky cog gets the oil. The manufacturer covered all costs in relation to this repair with no out of pocket expenses to this customer. It is unfortunate that he is now bad mouthing our business as we went out of our way to prioritise his job as he demanded it be ready within a specified time frame as he was heading away on a trip. We will not let it drag us down but continue to strive to offer the best service possible to all our valuable customers.
