Hi all,

Just thought I'd share a picture of my water/sand scoop made from a fire extinguisher the holes are 12 & 10mm I cut it with a angle grinder got a mate to weld it for me ( beer economy ) used a post hole shovel handle with a ezimate lift assist handle for in the water + some stainless steel on the front to protect and make it easer to cut through sand/mud .
The shovel is from buntings cost about $10 cut shape with angle grinder took about 10 min & works a treat for cutting plugs ( not my design seen it some where else thought it was good idea :8 )

Be great to see some more home made tools

Here you go this is the result of waiting for ebay purchases and rain
Not as robust as yours but hey they only need to last a couple of weeks

Very creative Goldandsand. Didn't think of doing that to a shovel myself and bought one that looks very similar.
