Hi all I'm new to this game and forum I'm from Williamstown vic, Ive had the garret atx for 3 weeks and been bush 3 time( glens park, fryers town and basalt rd. I havnt found gold yet but will keep pushing on. I was more of a beach only person. If any one is wanting to team up let me know I go out with 2 other blokes who also enjoy the chase. I'm 31 and my friends are 42 and 48. Thx for having me on your forum already I have read some very informative posts on your site.

You are hitting the right places, and you should be onto something shortly. Sometimes it can take a little while to start hitting a few, and once you do you will study the area visually, and look for those similar looking places elsewhere too. Usually the ground has a look for gold, like a patch, and they will start sticking out the more you fossick.

Thanx atom for your welcome thanx mate if it was easy everyone would be on it. I've heard the same thing in a post I was reading the guy said " once you find your first gold it tends to flow" at the moment just climbing the mountain.. And hopefully enjoy some good views soon?

Also I see your from Yarra valley is there any good spots out your way to try? Or better sticking to the triangle?
