Help Identifying this stone

This was found in aberfeldy area on the week end, this place was know for its blue/green sapphires in the early day.
From the books I've got it seems to be a emerald? But We are only novice. Can some one please help Identify...

Green Sapphire mate, 99% sure if it's from a known area. It's almost certainly not from the Beryl family.
