Hello From G.C. South East Queensland.

Hi All my name is Craig and very new to MT. I have just bought the Auldi detector for the wife and waiting on the Xterra 705 gold pack for myself that should arrive early next week. Just spending this long weekend and next week researching and learning.

I guess between the two types of detectors we should be able to find plenty of items. Plan to search beaches, parks and do a bit around Cunungra and Hinterland areas.

I would also be interested to catch up with anyone else in the G.C. area that can give me a few pointers or tag along search days.

There has been some great articles on this forum that have been interesting and very helpful already and I can see I still have a lot to read by next weekend before I head out for my first search and trial of the MT gear.

Hi Craig, looks like everyone is giving the Aldi Detector a go and for good reason. Read the reports they give us--all happy.
I have an Exterra 705,Minelab F1A4M2-Pi, and a cuppla others that keep the wife and i going-and charging batteries.
They all have a place in our lives, kids upwards to adults.
I am located in Bris City restricted due to injury--2-3 mths more.

Hi Craig, I just brought a new MD and very to this hobby. I can't wait to hit the beaches from G.C to Noosa. I'm also doing alot of research and found some interesting facts about the Suburb I live in. I hope you and your wife finds heaps of treasures.
