 Maybe you should read the manual you might start recovering your costs as a "prospector" while your out foraging about .
Haven't ya recovered the cost of the GPZ for your mate yet? Pull ya finger out :p all the other internet prospectors that share their tips have.
One well known bloke who's a real goldhound got 10+ ounces in 8 days with his. Not bad cost recovery ;) He's a real prospector though too, unlike us internet fossickers & foragers!
This website isn't a popularity contest - damn I'm finding a new experience source
I think your genuine in your cause - no doubts there. I do question your values & experiences though when you throw around insults, disparage input from people with 20+ years industry experience & seem to think your way/s are the be all & end all but don't back the insults, innuendo & disparaging comments up with anything in the way of useful comments/advice on how people should be operating - just throw out more underhanded insults.
My experience is minimal compared to some but exceeds others. It's neither here nor there on the scale of things.
Yeah I read & take on board lots of info from the internet. So would most others here - big deal  Your on here reading this!
Like I said before "put up or shut up"! If you don't want to share your tips, advice, in field findings/experiences that's fine. Don't try to belittle those that do! ;)

I am no expert with the Zed. In actual fact I have only found one nugget @ 15.55gm (and enough lead to start a fishing sinker business though).

I do look at whats online and try the different settings and see what works for me, in the ground I am working.

I dont think there is any one 'right' way to use the machine but I do think the manual gives a good starting point.

Just getting back to clearance between coil and ground. Since buying my sdc in march this year i've now just fitted my third new protective coil skid plate. I'm wearing them out pretty quickly i'm scraping them that much on rough terrain.
