Yeah I left a vial with gold in it on an ironing board and the cat must of gotten bored and decided to hit the vial off the edge and it smashed. :|

This past week was the school holidays. Last Tuesday my dad step mum and I went to the goldfield for a day. I got my Goldbug M Scope detector and was at it all day. The only things I found was 3 bullets! My family wanted to go home so as their son I had to go. On the following Saturday I went to the largest gem show in NSW. We got in as the gates opened and we decided to see some of the stalls outside before we went inside. The second stall we saw there were people looking on the ground. I said " hey what are you guys looking for, " they said we lost a gold nugget and who ever finds it can keep it." And then one of the guy told a story of how the stall owner gave this guy a nugget to him and he chucked it on the ground thinking it wasn't gold. The stall owner then said to him It was gold. So then I came along me in my childish mind thought maybe if I stay long enough I might find it. After 10 minutes my dad started to give signals to say come on let's go. I said to dad " do you think we could come back when they finish on Monday, " he's said yes. So about 1 hour and a half ago, I remembered what I said and we got in the car and went to the Showground. Within the first 5 minutes we find the nugget. I'M SO EXCITED!!!! It just goes to show that gold is in all places and you must be patient.

Sorry if this is bad writing but I'm to excited to write it down plus this was the first time I went and I used my metal detector for gold nuggets!!! And I'll post a photo tomorrow. :D :D
.
Edited to fix a few things.

8) Prospecting is reading the clues in nature and guessing what happened in the past and piecing it all together with research to try and guess where to look and which method to use and by tha crikey you have done some great suburban prospecting and out smarted the experts to come up with the gold . Good on ya :) :) :) :)
