That is an interesting story Goldpick....did you notice down the bottom of the page someone has asked the question...'What other equipment comes with it, manual, headphones??

What a twit, He found it in a lake bozo!!! :D

Good to see they really are waterproof

Nice to see that Minelab use low ESR Capacitors. PMSL
I would love to hear the real story from the original owner...

He's probably still swimming around every weekend looking for his detector.

If I remember correctly, a twit is a "pregnant fish" :D

Yesterday afternoon hubby and I headed out for a quick detect I put the Sadie on.

So I get out of the truck forgot my walkie talkie hubby had locked the truck and was off in the bush, so I just thought ok no doubt I would get lost I will just walk up the dirt track and see how it goes.

Since the cyclone Marcia its pretty tough going with all the trees down and branches every where.

I had a couple of digs wasn't to much rubbish around about an hour later, after digging a few duds, I had another signal just thinking the same thing, no it was a small nugget 1.33g My god I never thought it would happen just cruising up the grated track easy going.

This morning we headed off again I left the sadie on, hubby in front powering on as usual,I'm just slow and steady, I yelled to him to stop I really had to dig a target I'm like really, so I'm digging and digging and it still in there, now I have his attention I'm down about 200 so he says turn your off and I will put the 5000 over it well I tell you I'm sure I looked at him like a cat that was just fronted by a dog, and I was hissing looking out of the corner of my eye.

Wont repeat what I was thinking, anyway another 200 down there it was the end of a pick head about 450X75.

The Sadie is a weapon I was so impressed with the couple outings with it. 400 down and the Sadie made it very very clear I had to dig. So for you who don't know I have a 4800 it was in enhance,my RX bravely was on 12, my Stabilizer was on 5FP

I will attach the photo of the nugget hope it works Thanks to all who gave me some brave settings.

Sadie strikes again! Great nugget Margaret. Well done :)

I love having the NF Sadie on the 5000. It's so light you hardly even know you have a coil on the end of the shaft and it has very good depth for a little 8x6".

Keep up the good work!
Cheers,
Shauno.

Good effort and I would have liked to be a fly on the detector handle,"so to speak" to see the expression on your face as hubby shouldered in on that target....The Sadie is a great weapon and should be part of every serious detectorist's arsenal. Hope the luck up there continues for you both.

I once had half an hour to pan (and the first time I had ever panned) and found a nice little piece. I put it all snug in a vial and 1 day later my younger brother thought it was a drink of water and decided to chug the whole thing. I then saw him holding the empty vial and was really annoyed.
