G'day ST, a prepper awsome! You must have all sorts of stuff
stashed for the apocolypse. As you preppers say, "can't eat gold".

I am a silver stacker yes and no you cant eat gold (or silver in my case) but you sure can trade with it lol.

I like to think I could survive anything that life throws at me. It I am not a religious person and dont really expect the complete destruction of the world, as described in the biblical book of Revelation but I do think a situation like that is a very real possibility from anything from an EMP/solar flare that knocks out our electrical grids to a shift in the poles or even simply a total financial collapse. To my way of thinking if any of these things occur then its the peppers who will be in a position to sustain themselves and perhaps aid in rebuilding their local communities.

I stock things that are useful like rope, fishing line, first aid supplies, can foods, bottled and pickled foods seed stock and grains etc as well as things that can be traded, like silver :lol: , salt, vinegar, disinfectant, batteries, soap, bleach, charcoal tablets etc etc the list goes on and on.

I do really like the idea of doing a bit of prospecting for some gold but have no idea where to start or even if it is a viable prospect something people do for fun or profit?

I can't even manage to prepare dinner before the wife gets home from work let alone prepare for an Apocalypse. Your knowledge on the subject could come in very handy someday
